BlixxHorses exists to educate the public about horses and their care. We acknowledge their value in society beyond traditional use, and honor their ability to be physically and emotionally therapeutic for people. BlixxHorses is committed to helping people experience horses.

BlixxHorses is recognized by the IRS as an educational 501(c)3 organization, which means our purpose is not to make a profit, but to make a charitable and educational contribution to our communities through a message that is timeless. We are truly grateful for your friendship and support.
Our program fees are tax-deductible, and 100% of your donation is directed to care and operating expenses which includes programming and growth. We also have public programs at no cost. Available is a list of needs if you would like to choose where your donation should be applied.
Managing and caring for horses in captivity as opposed to the wild requires financial resources, time and intense, regular physical labor. Though some horses only live into their 20s, many live 30 years or longer, making the commitment one to be taken seriously. In addition, when they have been rescued from a poor situation, rehab to recover physically and mend emotional scars is necessary to rebuild trust. Being able to communicate and understand behavior despite their stoicism is a necessary component of success with these magnificent 1000 pound animals.
