Every year BlixxHorses holds a fundraising event called Unbridled. In 2020, Unbridled takes place Saturday, September 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in West Kennebunk.

We hold this celebration in conjunction with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and their “Help A Horse Day” celebrations. Unbridled began in 2001, before the inception of BlixxHorses, to mark the first birthday celebration for Arabian mare Bint Ali Alexxis, known as Lexxie. It has evolved into a very re-affirming event for our little community of clients, friends and supporters.
This year Unbridled will feature a Blessing of the Animals, live music, 16th birthday celebration, demonstration and Silent Auction. In addition, an organization based in Sanford, Maine, Another Chance Animal Rescue, will participate by bringing adoptable cats to the event. Aside from fundraising, Unbridled is a great chance for us to thank our supporters, donors, and those who have helped BlixxHorses in any way over the years.
